  4.     DIED. Roy Lee ("Chucky") Mullins, 21, ex-defensive back for
  5. the University of Mississippi Rebels; of complications from a
  6. blood clot in a lung; in Memphis. Two weeks ago, while dressing
  7. for class, Mullins stopped breathing. Mullins, who was black,
  8. became an inspirational figure in the state for continuing school
  9. after a tackle he made in a 1989 game against Vanderbilt paralyzed
  10. him from the neck down.
